Uniform Rehabilitation Model Law

Every Life & Health Insurance Company Rehabilitation in the US is subject to a Rehabilitation Plan crafted to conform to the domiciliary state's version of the Uniform Rehabilitation Model Law.

Effectively challenge the framers so that the Rehabilitation Plan will work in your interest In 1993 we were retained as expert witnesses for client stakeholders in one of the largest insurance company rehabilitations in US history. The original Rehabilitation Plan was designed to “wipe out” our clients. We helped to get the Plan modified to recognize our client's true equity interest.
Where should the unsecured general creditors rank under a proper application of the Uniform Rehabilitation Law? Lotter Actuarial invented the theory that policyholders have a bifurcated interest in their insurance policy.   While their guarantees rank uppermost, their non-guaranteed interests are like equity.  The unsecured general creditors rightfully rank  inside the bifurcation..
How will you find guidance through the technical maze? Lotter Actuarial guided the clients through complex rehabilitation plan provisions to wise strategic decisions and assertion of their rights in hostile environments.
Determine the value of your stakeholder interests. Lotter Actuarial furnished periodic accurate appraisals of our clients' stakeholder interests, enabling them to "book" and trade their values at the earliest possible opportunity.
Maximize the value of your “locked up” interests? Over a period of seven years, Lotter Actuarial furnished Board and Committee representation for the Clients, husbanding and safeguarding their interests at the earliest possible opportunity.
Win a valuable final disposition of your interests. At the end of the Rehabilitation in 1998, we helped our clients finalize a model deal recovering over 100% of principal.

Since 1993, Lotter Actuarial Partners has furnished Rehabilitation management services to a number of clients, including major law firms. Ask us for references.
