Lotter Actuarial selected for Society of Actuaries' Health Section Council's Open Request For Proposals.

Our proposal to conduct research into outcomes measurement has been accepted by the Society of Actuaries health section, which will be sponsoring and partially funding the research. Under the leadership of Ian Duncan, other researchers include Henry Dove, Ph.D. of Yale School of Public Health, and Rebecca Owen, Assistant Actuary at Highmark.

The project is expected to be completed in three phases:
Phase 1 – Introduction to Care Management Interventions and their Actuarial Implications.
Phase 2 – Outcomes and Outcomes Measurement Methodologies.
Phase 3 – Practical application of different measurement methodologies.
